As is well known, the continuous improvement of one’s skills is the key to professional success. The specifics of the IT industry require constantly staying up-to-date with new technologies and unceasingly developing one’s competencies. One method of broadening knowledge is through various courses; however, most of them, for obvious reasons, are paid. It does not always make sense to spend a lot of money on training, especially when we are not sure if the knowledge from a given technology will actually be needed and if we will have the opportunity to work with it in our profession. Free online courses may not be as valuable as paid courses with an instructor, but they allow us to familiarize ourselves with the topic at our own pace and we do not run the risk of an unprofitable investment.
For some time, I have been saving links to various free IBM training courses that I came across related to Power infrastructure, cloud, and containerization.
